The splendid frame of <\/span>Via Carducci<\/span><\/b>, enriched by the powerful <\/span>Porta Lambertina<\/span><\/b> (the city door dedicated to Pope <\/span>Benedict XIV<\/span><\/b>, <\/span>Prospero Lambertini<\/span><\/b>), is a privileged venue to host events, concerts, and fairs.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The memory of the old magnificent<\/span> Fiera franca della Maddalena<\/span><\/b> (Magdalene\u2019s Trade Fair) is still vivid: here many foreign consulates had their offices to protect the merchants and their activities. Today, the <\/span>names of the streets<\/span><\/b> – Rodi, Smirne, Corf\u00f9, Narente – are an evidence of the lively trade between the fair and Europe, and especially with the East, which made Senigallia famous all over the continent.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
