The Port Bastion was the <\/span>last<\/span><\/b> one of the pentagonal <\/span>fortification<\/span><\/b> that was built; his construction, done in 1574, definitely concretise the will, expressed by Guidobaldo II from the Rovere, to<\/span> extend the city beyond the river<\/span><\/b>.
